Dear Graduating Students:
Congratulations on your up-coming graduation from HSPH. As you prepare for
the next stage of your career, I hope that you will take a little time to
reflect on your experiences at the School and to tell us about your experience
here. Each year the school conducts an annual exit survey to hear graduating
students' views of the academic programs and other services of the school. We
have a student body that is diverse in both its backgrounds and its many
professional goals. To do a good job of meeting students' needs, it is important
that we hear how we are doing.
You will find the 2009 exit survey at https://webapps.sph.harvard.edu/live/forms/studentsurvey/
The survey is divided into two parts, an anonymous satisfaction survey and a
separate section asking for your future plans and contact information.
The quality of our academic and community life at the School of Public
Health is something that needs constant attention to maintain the standards that
we all expect. Faculty committees, administrative departments and the Student
Government all work together to improve the experiences of our students while
studying here. I hope that you will assist them by completing the survey and
giving guidance on future directions for the school. I know that this is a busy
time of the year for everyone, but I think the few minutes that will be needed
to complete the survey will help all of us who care about the quality of student
life and education at the School.
To thank you for your participation, upon completion of the second,
non-anonymous section of the survey, your name will be entered into a lottery
for one of two $100 gift certificates for Amazon.com.
Please feel free to contact Stan Hudson at shudson@hsph.harvard.edu if you have
any questions regarding the survey.
With best wishes and thank you for your help,
Julio Frenk
